About

I am a third-year BE Software Engineering student at Everest Engineering College, Pokhara University, based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Most of my day happens in the terminal. When something breaks I trace it back to the cause, whether that is a dependency, a driver or a spec, instead of patching over the error. I would like to end up writing Rust for Linux kernel drivers, and I am working toward that by reading kernel and driver source while building rnetapplet.

I have built Linux from source twice. Day to day I run Arch with the CachyOS kernel, because compiling everything daily is not realistic, but the from-source build taught me more about Linux than anything else. For the web I use Next.js, React and TypeScript, and I have shipped an Android app with its own Rust server.

What I do here

This is my personal site. It holds my project notes and technical articles, written while building things and fixing what broke. I keep them short and based on work I have actually done.
